In this part of South Tampa you build up. The first floor sits above grade, with stone-clad piers at the entry and a run of stairs to the front door. That is the elevation the flood map asks for, detailed so it reads as architecture instead of a workaround.
The great room runs coffered ceiling to glass doors, with the kitchen open to it — a stained oak island, quartz counters, rattan pendants, and wide-plank floors that carry straight through to the covered porch.
Upstairs, one room went deep navy with divided-light windows, on purpose. The primary bath is stacked gloss tile with two showerheads, a built-in bench, and a freestanding tub. Built for a house where people come in wet.
